Double Durango Farm was established
in 1998. It became a life long dream and mission to have a "place for a horse in my own backyard"...so
thank you to my poor Dad and husband for putting up with me ALL those LONG years until it became reality! Thanks mostly
to God, my Savior, for all good things come from Him and without Him we would be nothing!
You will see all sorts of things here on our website...from goats to ponds
and fish and our miniature donkies Indy and Vegas. We are glad you are here and found us...in 2005 we added Nigerian Dwarf goats to our farm. We fell in love with this
breed (Dianne admits it is because they looked like miniature paint horses running around in the pasture!). Check back
often and email us to be put on our email list for future baby kids born and check back on our "goats for sale"
page often as we will post photos and info as each one becomes available! Even though we do not ship our babies
by air we have had buyers drive in from many states in the Southeast and as far away as Michigan and Maine! For all the non-goat people looking at the site,
yes, the udder photos are necessary. We test our herd for CAE/Johnes with always negative results. We
have had many Double Durango does earn their Superior Genetics and a couple have earned the ANDDA bronze Sue
Rucker JuJu awards. We are striving for more finished Champions and more milk production awards in the near future!
See the extent that a goat can be spoiled!....ahhhh, the life of a goat here at Double
Durango where we have Six Flags for goats!!! If you are considering adding goats to your life and want to
come visit our farm we do offer farm tours (by appointment only and for a feed donation fee) you can email doubledurango@gmail.com for details! See our farm tour page! We also have added goat yoga classes so be sure to see our goat
yoga page for more information and dates of next class!
Thanks for visiting our site and God Bless!
